Uncle Phil and Aunt Michelle

Here are a few pic's from Memorial Day weekend - Phil and Michelle came down for a visit! It was a great time, lots of laughs...
Phil and Quinn playing hide and seek...

the giggles were endless....

Everything is good over here as we enter into summer. The kids LOVE being outside - and I love being able to see them in our yard from the kitchen window --- buys me a few minutes here and there!

We got our first CSA pickup today - for those of you who don't know what that is... it stands for Community Shared Agriculture. Basically you buy a "share" from a local farm - it's organic too. This year we're using Roxbury Farms - the pickup location is closer than the one we did last season. We loved being a part of it last summer - it runs about 25 weeks - you pickup veggies and fruit every Tues. evening. All local homegrown. It feels great to support local farmers, and also is fantastic for the enviroment and global warming. We're trying to become a bit more "green" -- Andrea actually bought me the book "Gorgeously Green" ....i think that's the title. And also my birthday gift included a cool reusable groc. type bag/sack - and a very cool Aluminum water bottle - and yes she checked it's sealed so no alum. transferrs into your water --- get's you away from plastic! The other thing we've changed, is using cloth napkins ---- I actually don't like reg. napkins all that much anyways - so that was an easy one! We stocked up a bit, so I don't have to do laundry every time we eat...aaaggghhhh can you imagine? especially those of you with kids...or that have seen my house at meal time???? lol I have great eaters, so I'm not complaining...but wow....the mess is unreal sometimes!

Ann ( billy's sister) will be in town on the 9th... which is also Kathy's birthday....a great present! We'll all be attending a wedding on the 13th (childhood friend of Ann's)--- it'll be nice to have her home!

Hope you're all doing well - enjoying the warm temps....and staying healthy and happy...
