a bit more...

wanted to share some other things with you... :)

Keira is talking...so adorable - she says and waves bye-bye with that reverse, scrunch your hand towards yourself wave... she also is saying Mom/Dad/ball/all done/and pretty...she loves my necklaces!! she touches them with her little fingers and says...p-tee / p-tee! still scootin' about, she really moves - can get anywhere she wants to go! She'll be 1 in just over a month - can't believe it's gone that fast.... By the way for those of you asking - she's currently in 12mo. or 12-18 mo. sizes - depending on where you buy from. 18 mo. is probably the smarter way to go - especially if it's something she could wear into the fall season. a little growing room doesn't hurt!


Quinn is loving his little cars...it's so precious to see him down on the ground - his head resting on his arm - rrrmmm -rrrrmmmm sounds innocently escape his mouth....:)
he loves lining them up...and let me tell you...you can't put one in the line the wrong way!!! Grandma Kathy did that and was told "you've got to be patient Grandma, and pay attention!" oh he cracks us up...he asked me or i guess told me i "could play car lines with him if i wanted to" and added "do you like that game?" - he loves it when we play with him. his imgination is also really starting to grow! He's talked about the monsters in the trees many times, and today told me there was a rhinocerous in the sky!!! he's getting so big....

One other bit of news - i've put a letter into my district requesting a second year leave of absence. board meeting is 7/9 where it will be finallized...99.9% chance it'll go through :)
it wasn't an easy decsion to come to, but after a week of contemplating the pro's and con's - Billy allowed me to make the choice. I won't have this chance again, to have my job secured and not lose tenure, be home with our kids, and pursuee my dream of photography. I feel very grateful that Billy was willing, although it wasn't what he felt was the best choice. I've have 4 paid shoots, and have another 3 scheduled. Working on some other marketing things to get my name out there, and am very hopeful that in time, i will be booked out months....so i ask you to send me your positive vibes, that things will work out as they should!

italian festival...

we went to an italian festival this afternoon - ate yummy calamari, pasta, calzones, sausage & peppers, canolis, pitza frita, and some other yummy fried dough that had raisins and sugar on the outside...so, right now i have a bit of a belly ache:) funny how you know you're gonna feel that way, but do it to yourself again, and again!

kids loved it - and quinn rode his very first festival ride. nothing too fancy, a little swinging compartment that he and Billy sat in...did he ever love it - huge smile - one of those ear to ear ones....when the ride stopped he cried, billy thought it was b/c their seats were tipped a bit, thinking he was scared....nope....he cried that he didn't want to get off!!!! can only imagine the fun theme parks ahead of us!!!! gonna leave the riding to billy - as i get sick these days...funny that i remember my mom saying that and thought it was just crazy when we were little.........:)

We've got teeth!

Just wanted to announce that Keira's two bottom teeth have FINALLY cut through!!!! Hopefully that saying that the later you get your teeth the better they'll be...will hold true for her!!! Also, she's scooting around...not crawling, but scooting on her buns!!! too funny, she still cries when on her belly - no interest in crawling...honestly, don't think she'll even do it - pulling herself to standing when holding our fingers - she may skip crawling and go right on to walking! She's also snugglin' up a storm - Billy and i love it!

Quinn is getting bigger too - how fast he's changing, and how smart he's becoming! He likes saying, "i thought so" and "probably" - also asks " who's coming over today mom?" as he thinks visiting friends are just suppose to be part of the schedule!!! :) Trying to combat this fight for attention he seems to be going through - a lot of screaming - just random screams/not crying and bad behavior to get our attention...any thoughts or suggestions????
