we are still here!

it has been so long....too long; and honestly I thought of writing so many times, and put it off driven by the guilt of not keeping this up.

so we're still here - and still planning on running this blog to keep our family and friends informed about the happenings in our life!!!

A few quick recaps on the past few months...forgive me if I'm overlooking something...it's been a while and it's getting late!

March - My Dad turned 60!!! Debbie, Andrea, Phil and I pulled together a surprise party...well being out of town...I helped very little :) He was so surprised - totally caught off guard...always the best when that happens! Just stumbled across those pictures...and really will try to post some soon, as well as get the disc out to you DAD!

April - Double Birthdays here...Bill and Billy's within a week of one another! Great celebrations for both...but as Quinn asked... "I thought we were having a party Grandpa???" he didn't quite get that it was just us for the party LOL

May - My birthday and Mother's Day...very nice days! Billy and I went to California for a week - got to spend some great time with Ann and Patty; and attended Joe Power's wedding (Billy's college roommate - and a good friend to both of us) the wedding was in Temecula - vineyard area...beautiful is an understatement! The kids got to spend many nights at Grandma and Grandpa's AND even got to hang for the weekend with Aunt Drea and Uncle John aka Buba LOL

And now we're in JUNE!!!! Crazy isn't it??? It hasn't felt like we're entering summer...a bit cool; and the plants in our yard are just not taking off without the heat. Hopefully something will change in the next week or so.

Quinn is finishing up his first year of preschool next week, and had a "performance" tomorrow - where Daddy, Mommy, Keira, Grandma, & Grandpa will be there to watch. He's nervous about it, which is cute.... a bit of stage fright!

Everyone is doing well - the kids are getting much too big too fast! Photography is going very well...actually just had some work done on my site...take a look! www.geninegullickson.net
